Remember Me is absolutely beautiful. Seriously. Of all the games I’ve ever played, I have to say that I found Remember Me to be the most consistently stunning as far as graphics and art design go, and for it to also have a combat system that’s both unique and fun? This game is unbelievable, and I love it. Aside from some QTEs that are less than intuitive and one side character’s slightly off voice acting in the English version, Remember Me is as great a linear adventure as you can find.

Even better, it’s a game that finally has a strong heroine. Games with female protagonists rarely portray them as strong—Cate Archer from No One Lives Forever, for example, gets knocked out like 5 times over the course of the first game’s story—but Remember Me’s Nilin is totally awesome. I haven’t seen such a strong female character in gaming since Mona Sax in Max Payne 2.
