Check out my review of the game here: Remember Me review
I’m a big believer in overkill. After all, anything worth doing is worth overdoing. Sure, that may backfire at times as I scare random strangers with my intensity, but rest assured that I’m always equally offended by their relative level-headedness. Anyway, my old screen resolution of 1440×900 is one that I used for many games, and while there’s a special place in my heart for it, I’m loving my new 1080p monitor. Why stop there, though? Overkill demands that I shoot for the stars and attempt to murder my GPU with resolutions higher than Cheech and Chong.
That brings us to this set of screenshots for Remember Me, one of my favorite games of 2013 and one that I felt was incredibly pretty. Will it continue to be pretty at the insane resolution of 5120×2880? Duh, of course it will, though there’s one major blemish: the noise filter. At 1920×1080, the noise filter is a pleasant effect that gives the whole game a sort of movie-like feel. At 5120×2880, however, it’s just a bunch of greyish blocks punching you in the eyes.
