Check out my review of the game here: Monument Valley review

Monument Valley is difficult to really classify as a “video game.” That’s not to say that it’s bad or anything (because it certainly isn’t), but it’s only about an hour long and offers virtually no challenge to speak of. That said, its ten M. C. Escher-inspired levels are mind-bending in the best of ways and the game itself is colorful and entertaining, so whether that’s worth the the four-dollar asking price ultimately comes down to how much you expect to get out of those four dollars. There are definitely cheaper apps available on both iOS and Android that offer similar or greater value for the money, but if you don’t mind paying a high price (by app standards) for an artsy mobile experience that can be blown through in a single sitting, Monument Valley is at least worth considering.
