Check out the review of the game here: Just Cause 2 Review
Just Cause 2 is really fun for the first few hours, but the allure of blowing up the same kinds of things over and over and over again without any story-related impetus to do so quickly wears thin and makes the game painful to finish. It’s great for getting out a little aggression, and there are some ludicrously fun things you can do (like hijacking a plane/helicopter in midair and using it to assault a military base), but ultimately it’s an empty experience.
The game’s also disgustingly buggy at times; midway through a mission, it suddenly decided to refuse to play in full screen, switching to the weird windowed resolution of 1436 by 874 pixels. So… some of the screenshots are at that resolution. Anyway, despite the game being very same-y after awhile, it has its moments of prettiness (along with moments of ugliness), so be sure to also check out part 2 to have an idea of what to expect.
