Check out my review of the game here: Jazzpunk review
I like funny games, but Jazzpunk isn’t funny. What makes that such a shame is that the whole thing is one large series of jokes, with every single other element revolving around the delivery of its random punchlines. The entire game is nothing more than an excuse to string together a bunch of references and dumb jokes that never really land, and it delivers these jokes with the same amount of subtlety that you’d expect a bull to show in a china shop. Since there’s no actual game behind the whole thing, the entirety of Jazzpunk comes across like a chain letter in game form, being short (seriously, this game is shorter than most DLC tends to be), exhaustive, and easily forgettable.
