Baldur’s Gate 2 Screenshots

Check out my review of the game here: Baldur’s Gate 2 review

The original Baldur’s Gate is a mess of antiquated mechanics, tedious pacing, and annoying characters who are difficult to like. Baldur’s Gate 2, on the other hand, is an amazing game that still holds up today despite its combat being similar to the first game (though, owing to the better pacing and ability to talk your way out of many problems, even the combat feels like a huge improvement despite being virtually identical to that of the first game). There’s just something about the characters, writing, freedom, and overall story that the sequel nails, and it makes it incredibly easy to forgive the game’s minor flaws.
