Check out my review of this crappy game here: Antisquad review
If you know me, you know that there are few things on this planet that I love more than turn-based tactics games; Fire Emblem and Front Mission are basically the game equivalents of cocaine to me, so I picked up Antisquad in the hopes of finally having a solid tactics game on the PC. Let me just say this—it had a lot of promise in the first ten minutes. Fixed characters with unique personalities, an interesting combat system, and stats that can be upgraded sounded like a dream come true. Then the rest of the game happened and I was forced to realize that Antisquad is one of the worst games I’ve ever played in my entire life. Between the English-as-a-second-language dialogue that becomes so nonsensical that it’s best skipped entirely, the game’s utter reliance on grinding chapters endlessly to save up cash to upgrade your characters with, and the non-ending that the game suddenly ends on, this pathetic excuse of a game is best ignored entirely.
